The waitlist

When you join the waitlist for hosted Ingle, we keep:

We use your address for one thing: to email you when hosted Ingle is ready. We don't share it, sell it or add it to anything else. You give us permission by joining, and you can take it back at any time by emailing us, after which we delete your address.

The list is stored in a Cloudflare database. We keep it until you ask us to remove you, or until we stop running the waitlist, whichever comes first.

The spam check

The waitlist form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person, not a bot, is filling it in. To do that, Cloudflare looks at things like your IP address and your browser. Cloudflare explains what it collects in its Turnstile privacy notice.

Visits

We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies and doesn't follow you to other sites. We see totals, such as how many people viewed a page and which country they came from, not who you are.

Cloudflare hosts the site, so like any web host it handles your IP address to deliver pages and keep the site safe from attacks.

Cookies

The site sets no cookies. If you choose light or dark mode in the docs, your browser remembers that choice on your device. It isn't sent to us.

If you run Ingle yourself

This page is about the website only. When you run Ingle on your own computer, your household's chores, points and photos stay on it. Ingle doesn't send anything to us.

Your rights

You can ask to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Email [email protected] and we'll reply within a month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
